Although winter hasn’t officially arrived yet, eastern Jutland woke up this morning to about 20cm of snow.
Temperatures are set to fall below zero in the Greater Copenhagen area later today and we can expect snow in the southeastern regions, according to Olaf Mathiassen of the Danish Meteorological Institute, who told motorists to be aware of slippery roads.
“When the temperature falls while it’s raining, there’s a great risk of icy roads,” he said.
The cold weather is expected to continue, so we may well see snow in Copenhagen tomorrow.
