A heart stopping story...

A super-sized foot-long cheeseburger is being tested at fifty fast food restaurants in California.
The burger-sandwich hybrid is so big it doesn’t fit in the regular take-out bags at Carl’s Jr.
And it’s certainly not for the faint of heart – packing a belly-busting 850 calories in every burger.

That’s hardly surprising, since it’s the same fast-food chain that introduced the world to the 1,400-calorie Monster Burger and the Monster Breakfast Sandwich, with 47 grams of fat.
'We live in a society that's fascinated with all things big,' Scott Hume, editor of BurgerBusiness.com, an industry trade site told USAToday.
'It's inherently American to push for something bigger and better than anyone else has.'
But this may be a step too far.

Junk food bloggers complained about the extra dough and claimed it was simply ‘mimicking a sub sandwich’.
The sandwich - with three meat patties and three slices of cheese - sells for $4, but comes in a 'Deluxe’ version for $4.50. That version includes onion, lettuce and tomato.
Carl's Jr. will gauge public reaction to the mega-cheeseburger before deciding whether to roll it out nationwide.
The foot-long burger is America's latest high-calorie creation following KFC’s Double Down, which consisted of two fried pieces of chicken sandwiched together with cheese and bacon.
Burger King also recently tested a 'Pizza Burger' - a 2,500-calorie behemoth on a nine-and-a-half-inch bun that is shaped and sliced like a pizza.
